Which Way is best?

This is number two for today...!

I was going to Jewel Osco a few days ago and I parked in the middle of the parking lot. When I say in the middle, I mean dead-smack in the middle of the two doors of the store.

I realized this when I got out of my car and began walking toward the doors. In that moment, I had to make a split second decision. I heard God speaking to me as well and I want to share that with you... it might help you.

One of the doors said pharmacy and the other said grocery. I was going there for groceries. At some point, I thought the pharmacy door would be a smidge closer in walking distance, but I needed items from the grocery section.

In that split second, God said,

going that way (pharmacy) will still get you to what you need, but it'll take longer. Go this way (grocery) and get straight to what you need.

Of course I'm like... wow, yeah that makes sense God.

He brought it to terms of obedience. At times, it seems as though we are standing between two roads. Neither are necessarily wrong, but one way would take us longer to get to what we need/want as opposed to be being obedient and able to go directly to where we need without the extra steps. Even if we would've learned from it or gotten more experience, it could have been avoided if we're obedient & allow the Lord God to order our steps. In that, you'll find more peace and rest in Him.
